I get this question a lot and it has to do with populating your dating site. A lot of people after they purchase dating software just don’t know how to get people to it. It’s not rocket science but there are a few things you need to know in order to get started.

Tell your friends. The best way to start your dating site is to tell your friends. Nothing like friend viral marketing. The fastest way to get 10 profiles is to let them know. Tell them to tell their friends. Of course, keeping the site free while you populate it is key. You don’t want to charge members for membership when there are only 3 members. So, tell your friends.

Don’t setup fake profiles for that will only get you in trouble down the line. Now, one or two for testing is fine but don’t spend your day creating fake profiles. Get your members the right way and that is by spreading the word.

This is a good one. Go to nightclubs in your area and pass out fliers. Put them on all the car windows in the parking lot. Ask all the clubs if you can put some in the bathroom. Maybe ask the bathroom attendant at the club if you can place some fliers on the sink area. Of course slip him a $20 to do so. That will work wonders. Trust me, I’ve done it many times.

Market, market, market. Get a nice sticker for your cars back window. Sitting at those red lights will do wonders for your site if the person behind you is single.
